Punkaharju
The first of september we started our journey to Pieksämäki and to Punkaharju. And the same day Sofia got her second vaccination. Everyone who has children can guess how our journey began.. Sofia screamed and cried for the first couple hours. After that Sofia was too exhausted to cry, but she didn´t fall asleep either. If I or my boyfriend said anything she started to cry again. Luckily she did fall asleep after all and we able to drive rest of the way non-stop. Finally at 10pm we were at Pieksämäki with my sister and grandmother.
The next day we went to Punkaharju to my aunt´s 50th birthday party. It took us 2,5 hours to get there. The party was in the middle of nowhere and filled with relatives I did not recognize. And the food was... how would I say this.. eatable? fishsoup (whitefish) with bones. We stayed there about 4 hours and then I decided it was time for us to go.
